WAWAN at the Wollongong Art Gallery
We have some really exciting news ... Wollongong Against War and Nukes has been chosen for a two-week activist residency at Wollongong Art Gallery as part of the 'Greetings from Wollongong' exhibition!
Taking place over 25 July to 12 August 2025, we'll be turning the space into an activist hub! We planning to decorate the space with banners and photos, and display some of the long history of anti-war activism in Wollongong.
We'll invite the public to join us in screenprinting shirts, making badges, decorating peace doves, creating lanterns, running kids activities, and much more.
Coinciding with the 80th anniversaries of the nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, this is a great opportunity to take our message of peace to Wollongong.
